The maintenance will involve the installation, repair, and replacement of pipes and valves. Affected areas include Bloekombos and Wallacedene, where the Glen Garry Reservoir has been shut down since 30 September for annual cleaning and upkeep. During this time, an alternate water supply is being redirected to the Glen Garry area, though at reduced pressure. Residents and businesses are urged to minimise their water use to help prevent the reservoirs from running dry.
