Alderman James Vos, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, emphasised AI’s role in fostering inclusive development:
‘AI has become one of the most important tools for identifying challenges and unlocking solutions. This summit will empower Cape Town, South Africa, and the broader African continent.’
Meanwhile, PwC estimates that AI could contribute R129-billion to South Africa’s economy by 2030. Sectors like healthcare, agriculture, logistics and SMEs stand to benefit significantly.

The summit targets entrepreneurs, marketers, HR leaders and strategists seeking to harness AI for growth.
Dillon Jearey (Circle Forward Global) will lead a Generative AI 101 workshop, while Roshan Jelal (FNB) and Rahul Jain (Peach Payments) will explore AI-driven fraud prevention.
