Police in Delft is investigating a case of a triple murder after three men were shot dead on Friday, November 5. According to the SAPS, reports from the scene indicate that the deceased persons were on the corner of Sandelhout and Delft Main roads when unknown suspects emerged and fired several shots.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said two people sustained gunshot wounds and was declared dead on the scene, while a third person who was sitting in a vehicle also died after being shot in the head.
“The names of the deceased persons who are believed were from Crossroads will be released once their next of kin have been informed. The estimated ages of the victims are between 30 and 44 years,” Potelwa said.

The motive for the shooting incident is yet to be determined as the investigation continues, However, the SAPS urge anyone with information on the incident to Crime Stop 08600 10111.
