In response to adverse weather conditions anticipated over the coming days, CapeNature has announced the closure of several reserves to ensure visitor safety, Cape {town} Etc reports.

The affected areas will be closed on the following dates:
From 26-29 October, 2024:
Hottentots-Holland Nature Reserve: All trails, overnight huts, picnic areas, and activities will be unavailable.
On October 27, 2024:
Geelkrans Nature Reserve: All trails will be closed.
From October 27 to 29, 2024:
Jonkershoek Nature Reserve: All trails and the picnic area will be closed.
Assegaaibosch Nature Reserve: All trails and the picnic area will be closed.
Limietberg Nature Reserve: All trails will be closed.
Kogelberg Nature Reserve: All trails will be closed.
From October 27 to 28, 2024:
Stony Point Boardwalk will be closed.
Cederberg Complex: All overnight trails will be closed.
Visitors are encouraged to stay updated on conditions and to plan their trips accordingly. CapeNature prioritises the safety of its guests and will provide updates as the weather situation evolves.
