On Monday morning, the R&B artist took to Instagram to announce that he will be performing in Johannesburg this December, leaving Cape Town in the lurch.
Locals have hilariously taken to social media to share their frustration with the decision, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Last Wednesday, 25 September, Brown sparked mass excitement as he posted an Instagram story stating ‘South Africa… I’m coming.’
The American singer has a large South African following and locals could not contain their joy upon seeing the announcement.
However, Brown soon thereafter announced a singular performance, which is set to take place in Johannesburg on 14 December 2024, devastating his Cape Town fan base.

‘People from Cape Town feeling the pain,’don’t say South Africa and get Cape Town’s heart pumping and then only go to JHB’ and ‘why not Cape Town, anyway where can I sell my fridge and TV?’ read some of the comments.
