A young Capetonian innovator is showing us all how to do the most with the least.
Cape Town City Ballet dancer and fashion designer, Bhungane Mehlomakhulu took a few spare Woolworths shopping bags and made an entire outfit out of the recycled materials. Self-described as a “ballerina boy with sewing & camera skills”, the local has created something delicious.

Using the materials as a prototype for his upcoming @bhumehl_fashion SS22 collection, Bhungane has created the look that has the internet in love.
People are saying he should do a campaign with him because of his beautifully resourceful talent. The food giant even responded adoringly to his post.

“It somehow came out better than I anticipated so I had to shoot it,” Bhungane notes.
If this is what the Woodstock local can create with a few leftover bags, we can’t wait to see the final garments in his finished SS22 collection.
