Cupcakes of Hope is a Non-Profit and Public Benefit organisation that is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children with cancer who are in need of financial assistance. They also focus on the emotional needs of children during these tough circumstances.
According to Good Things Guy, the organisation also helps raise awareness about the early cancer detection stage in children through the love of baking.
Cupcakes of Hope are hosted by volunteers who bake cupcakes for charity. The funds raised are then used to assist about 100 children every month by paying for their medical or day-to-day expenses.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and for 2021, the organisation has set the target of raising R3 million for children with cancer.
The organisation are in need of 3 000 bakers to join their #Bake4Cancer fundraiser. Bakers will bake and sell the cupcakes, with the funds going to Cupcakes of Hope.
It’s so easy to join their Cupcake Angel Team for 2021:
Step 1: Pledge to bake 24, 48 or 100 Cupcakes or Cookies
Step 2: Register your fundraiser – Here.
Step 3: Bake your delicious treats and ask friends to make a R10-R20 donation per cupcake/cookies.
Step 4: Transfer funds into Cupcakes of HOPE bank account, which will be used for the medical and day-to-day needs of children with cancer.
