Woodstock police have launched an investigation into the death of a 44-year-old male following the discovery of a badly decomposed body on Devil’s Peak, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Police were called to the scene yesterday, 17 October, after the body was discovered by Table Mountain Park Rangers shortly after 4pm.
The deceased identity card, cellphone and car keys were found in his pocket, and next of kin have not yet been notified.
A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the possible cause of death.
