South African UFC star Dricus du Plessis has traded his gloves for a ring, announcing his engagement to girlfriend Vasti Spiller in a heartfelt surprise at his birthday celebration, Cape {town} Etc reports.

After addressing the crowd, the mixed martial artist stunned guests by dropping to one knee and asking Spiller to marry him.
