Eskom has announced that it will move to a stage 4 loadshedding as of 9 am on Wednesday,9 March following further breakdowns.
The latest announcement comes after the power utility said loadshedding will continue until 5 am on Saturday, 12 March. Eskom said: “Due to further failures of generation units, Stage 4 loadshedding will be implemented from 09:00 today until 05:00 on Friday in order to manage the emergency reserves.”
