Concerned members of the False Bay and Muizenberg communities are urgently trying to find Innocent, affectionately known as “Supersand Man”. A call has been put out for any information regarding his whereabouts.
The sand artist is frequently seen at Muizenberg Beach and Fish Hoek Beach, creating incredible works of art in the beach sand.
He was reported missing at the Muizenberg Police Station and residents of the Muizenberg and Fish Hoek areas are concerned about the wellbeing of the talented sand sculptor.
Innocent is usually seen assisting Michael Myekwa, the more famous sand sculptor who is originally from the Eastern Cape. Myekwa first began creating his detailed sand sculptures on Fish Hoek Beach in 2016 and has been putting a smile on the faces of beachgoers ever since.
