Table Mountain National Park has deployed ground crews to tackle a fire currently burning along Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Authorities are urging motorists to make way for emergency vehicles as teams work to contain the blaze.
At this stage, Chapman’s Peak Drive remains open to traffic. Park officials say updates will be provided as the situation develops.
