From today until Sunday, visitors can get free entry to their favourite Iziko Museums.
In light of Heritage Week, the in_herit Festival begins today, which will see Iziko Museums in Cape Town open their doors free of charge – with the Castle of Good Hope offering free entry on Heritage Day and the Planetarium half-price on the day too. The annual festival provides visitors with the opportunity to discover and explore the museums and South Africa’s history.
A series of walkabouts, a new exhibition opening, public discussions, and guided tours offer insight into our nation’s diverse cultural, natural and artistic heritage.
A fun-filled lineup that the whole family can enjoy has been allocated for Heritage Day on Sunday:
