The Department of Energy has released the official figures for the month of November, and has announced there will be decreases in all types of fuel.

The price of 93 and 95 Unleaded petrol will drop by 13 cents per litre, while the price of diesel will drop by 14 cents per litre. The price of 0.005% diesel will drop by 16 cents per litre, as well as 0.05% diesel.

Illuminating paraffin will also drop by 23 cents.

According to the Department, the price cuts were announced as the international price decreased. The cuts may have been slightly larger, but the rand did not perform well enough against the American dollar.

The changes will be implemented from Wednesday, November 6.
