Golden Arrow Bus Service has asked commuters to make alternative transport arrangements as their service schedule has regrettably been disrupted.
“Due to this disruption, reduced services will be operated to avoid any risks to the security and safety of passengers and staff. Passengers are requested to make alternative arrangements and further communication regarding the restoration of normal services will be timeously communicated,” GABS communicated.
This action comes after a Golden Arrow bus driver was shot and wounded on Monday, July 19. The bus company’s spokesperson, John Dammert says the driver is currently receiving medical attention and the incident has been reported to the SAPS, as IOL mentions. No other injuries were reported.
