Four guests at Mossel Bay’s Pinnacle Point Estate crashed a red golf cart over a barricade before it appeared to ‘careen down a hill’, on Saturday, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Carl van der Linde, general manager of the estate, stated the cart was being driven by guests who were staying at a privately owned property.

‘The accident occurred on Saturday, 21 September, around 2pm, when the guests drove down to Oyster Bay and lost control of the golf cart as a result of what appeared to be a failure of brakes on the downhill section,’ said Van der Linde.
‘The four occupants of the golf cart were injured. Emergency services were deployed and were on scene very quickly,’ Van der Linde added.
Byron La Hoe, Western Cape Department of Health spokesperson, said a rescue vehicle had responded to the incident, according to News24.
‘A female patient was transported by ER24 to Mossel Bay provincial hospital with serious injuries,’ said La Hoe.
‘In addition, two males and one female were transported by Bay Grace Private Ambulance to Mossel Bay provincial hospital with minor injuries,’ La Hoe added.
