An Air Mercy Service (AMS) helicopter was sent to rescue a person from Lion’s Head on Saturday, February 20.

According to JWI News, who spoke to Cape Town Etc, a paraglider crashed into the side of the mountain that faces the Clifton beaches.

“At this stage still waiting to find out but know they have just lifted them off the mountain,” said JWI News to Cape Town Etc.

Medics were sent to the scene and the person has been airlifted from the mountain.
