The Bishop Lavis Family Violence Child Abuse Sexual Offences Unit has released an identikit of the suspect who they believe is involved in the kidnapping of a two-month-old baby on Saturday, 30 April.

Baby Kai-isha Meniers was last seen in the arms of an unknown woman who was reportedly asked by the mother to hold her while she went into a retail store in Bishop Lavis.

Meanwhile, police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg has urged anyone with any information or who can identify the person in the identikit to make contact with the investigation officer, Detective Sergeant Thembisa Buqa on 073 519 3384 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
Twigg said the information will be treated confidentially and will remain anonymous.
