American basketball player LeBron James made a recent stop in Berlin, Germany to watch local athlete Caster Semenya compete in the IAAF World Challenge Meeting.

Semenya did not disappoint the basketball superstar – she won the 1 000 metre women’s race and broke her own record by covering the two-and-a-half lap race in a mere 2:30:70. She clocked a time of 2:31:01 when she ran in Rabat, Morocco in July.

James was eager to meet Semenya after she completed her race, and posed for several pictures with the local multi-Olympic-medalist.

Short flight to Berlin, @kingjames first stop was the ISTAF Berlin to see @castersemenya800m run 1000m and also to see the native of Berlin, Robert Harrington in his final career event. @nike @uninterrupted #morethananathlete #nikeworldtour2018 #striveforgreatness
