Update just in, Eskom will be implementing load shedding stage 4 as of tonight.
The shift from stage 3 is due to “due to high demand or urgent maintenance being performed at certain power stations”.
2022 has seen South Africa gripped with record-high levels of load shedding as the country experienced up to stage 6 on more than one occasion.
