According to police spokesperson, Captain Frederick van Wyk, the young man was sitting with five friends around a fire when an unidentified male approached them, going directly to the victim, and shot him several times in the leg before fleeing the scene.
‘The victim was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment,’ added van Wyk. No arrests have been made as yet.
