At approximately 7am this morning [March 31], the City’s Law Enforcement Marine Unit apprehended four unidentified males who were attempting to dump three bodies at a local beach.

While patrolling along Lukannon Drive in the Bay View section of Strandfontein, the Marine Unit spotted a suspicious vehicle on the beach directly opposite Nautilus Way.

They observed four males walking towards the ocean. They monitored the vehicle and decided to approach the unknown males.

According to Law Enforcement Inspector, Wayne Dyason, when the unit checked the vehicle they found the bodies of two adult males covered with blankets. Further investigation revealed another body of a male in the bakkie.
