The MyCiTi bus service says it will provide a free inner city shuttle service on 1, 2 and 3 December to help residents get vaccinated at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
According to the MyCiTi website, this special service will operate between the Golden Arrow bus terminus outside the Golden Acre shopping centre, the drop and go area outside the MyCiTi Civic Centre station on Hertzog Boulevard, and the Vaccination Centre of Hope at the CTICC.
The website indicated that service is free for everyone to use, and buses will run every 10 minutes in both directions from 07:30 to 16:05. The Vaccination Centre of Hope is also operational on weekdays from 08:00 to 16:00. The buses will be clearly marked as a shuttle service to help members of the public identify them,

In the meantime, the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD), said on Tuesday, November 30 that over 4,373 new COVID-19 cases have been identified in South Africa, which brings the total number of confirmed cases to 2,968,052.
According to the NICD, a further 21 COVID-19 related deaths have been also reported, bringing the total fatalities to 89,843 to date.
