A man from Florida in the United States stripped naked before stealing and crashing a police vehicle on January 21.
Joshua Shenker, 22, was arrested after police found him along Interstate 10. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office assistant chief Ellis Burns told The Independent that Shenker was “possibly intoxicated or high”.
When police arrived on the scene, Shenker had driven the car off the road and crashed into bushes. He was reportedly lying on the road, but ran across the highway towards the police when they approached and tried to fight them.
Shenker was taken to hospital but sustained no serious injuries. He was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, depriving an officer of means of communication or protection, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting an officer without violence.
