This flagship will to cater Monte Vista, Plattekloof, Panoram, Richwood, Burgundy Estate, Edgmead and Bothasig residents.
The fruit, vegetables and grocery store opened its doors this evening, Thursday 20 October.
Built from scratch, the massive store sits on a 3 000m2 at 1 Link Road.
According to BusinessTech, “The retailer invested R100 million into the building.”
Shoppers will find the figures justified because the establishment of the N7 has solar backup – which is vital amid load shedding.
The massive shop is an upgrade from its Access Park Fruit & Veg humble beginnings (where the Cape Town franchise stems started).
The Food Lovers Market CEO Brian Coppin told BusinessTech in a pre-launch sneak peek, “This is the best store we have ever built.”
