Chaos unfolded across Elsies River and Leonsdale on Thursday night after a shooting spree left multiple people injured, with victims found at several locations in the area, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Authorities confirmed that six individuals were shot in the incident, which stretched across three separate crime scenes, including 12th Avenue, Bourne Road, and nearby surroundings, painting a picture of a violent and fast-moving situation.
Among those caught in the crossfire were a 62-year-old woman and a 12-year-old girl, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the attack, while other victims reportedly include foreign nationals.
Emergency responders rushed to the scenes to stabilise the wounded, but the situation was critical for some, with two victims, including children, reported as Code Blue.
The spread of the shooting across multiple locations has raised serious concern among residents, as investigators work to piece together what led to the violence and whether the incidents are linked.
