No suspects have been arrested following what appears to be a mob justice attack in Parkwood on Tuesday morning, as per EWN.
Social media had been flooded with images of a burning white Toyota Avanza, which had been torched by an angry group who believed the three men in the car had attempted to abduct a child.
Two of the suspects managed to flee the scene; however, the third was burned alive.

Police were called to the scene, which took place on the corner of Hyde Road and the M5 in Parkwood, around 11am.
“Two of the males that were in the vehicle managed to flee the scene. The suspects are yet to be arrested. The motive for the attack is unknown,” said police spokesperson Joseph Swartbooi
Community members reportedly sprang into action after people started posting on social media regarding an alleged kidnapping.
“This resulted in someone passing due to injuries after being attacked and assaulted by the community,” said Nicole Jacobus of the Community Policing Forum.
