South African motorists should probably adjust their fuel budget for November as data from the Central Energy Fund (CEF) shows that petrol and diesel prices in South Africa will be going up next month.

The estimated fuel price change for November will see an increase of 48 cents per litre for Petrol 93, a 38 cents increase on Petrol 95 and Diesel is expected to increase by R1.54 cents per litre.
The local Petrol price is determined by the international price of petroleum products, mainly oil and the strength of the rand against the dollar.
The predictions are based on unaudited data from the Central Energy Fund and do not include other potential changes like slate levy adjustments or retail margin changes which are determined by the department at the end of the month, taking all variables into account.
The DoE makes adjustments based on a review of the entire period and the outlook can change significantly before month-end as reported by BusinessTech
