Monday’s snowfall blanketed over several areas of the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape provinces – snow even fell on the slopes of Table Mountain. Many passes were closed due to the weather conditions, but have since been reopened, these include Gydo Pass, Theronsberg Pass, Matroosberg Pass and Swartberg Pass.

Table Mountain Cableway said they are open, the temperature at the top is cold, wind strength is medium and visibility intermittent.

The intense cold front is expected to pass over by Tuesday, bringing sunshine for the rest of the week in the Mother City.

But… we’re still obsessed with the snow and can’t seem to get enough of the pictures from all over the Western Cape province.
