According to police spokesperson, Andre Traut, officers were informed of a suspected robbery and monitored the area. They then spotted the alleged suspects who later fled when they saw police. After a brief chase, the suspects were then apprehended on the R300 near Kuils River.
Traut says they seized an unlicensed 7.65 pistol, an imitation firearm and 59 rounds of ammunition. He says there were also two unrelated incidents in Kensington.
