Police are searching for Bothasig resident Adivan Ahmed. The 21-year-old male was last seen leaving his home in Spilbergen street to walk to work on Tuesday, November 3 at 7.30am, according to the Pink Ladies Organisation.

A woman, who claims to be Adivan’s neighbour, shared the missing person’s poster and said he was walking to his place of work — a cellphone shop in Richmond Centre, at a shopping mall in Richwood, Cape Town.

“You might also know the friendly people at Shoprite cell shop, that’s his uncle and aunt who he lives with,” she said.

Adivan was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt, blue jeans, black and white shoes and had a ‘Virgin Active’ backpack.

Anyone with information that could help find Adivan is encouraged to contact the SAPS Bothasig WC Detective Sergeant Kriel at 021 559 9400 or 074 232 1984.

Alternatively, the Pink Ladies Organisation can be reached at 072 214 7439 or 083 378 4882 or 08600 10111.
