Western Cape police need help finding a person of interest who could shed light on an attack on a woman in Rondebosch on Sunday.

Police spokesperson Anelisiwe Manyana says the victim was walking with her dog at the Rondebosch Common when a suspect approached her and demanded her cellphone and money.
However, the person also ripped her pants and attempted to rape her, and proceeded to stab her on the back of her head and hand.
Rondebosch police released a facial composition for a person who is believed to be able to help with the investigation into the alleged attempted rape and assault grievous bodily harm (GBH) case.
