Potchefstroom Gimnasium recently embraced a deeply emotional and meaningful tradition to close off their ‘Gimmie-Woord’ weekend, where the school’s leadership group, the Gimmieraad, washed the feet of the 2025 Grade 8 students, Cape {town} Etc reports.

In a powerful display of unity and tradition, the Gimmieraad honoured the incoming Grade 8s by continuing the sacred foot-washing custom.
