A power outage at Cape Town International Airport on Wednesday afternoon caused multiple flight delays and disruptions.
Technicians from the Airports Company of South Africa (Acsa) are working to resolve the issue.
‘We regret to inform you that the ongoing power interruptions at Cape Town International Airport have led to flight disruptions and delays. Our technicians are working diligently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,’ a statement read.
Passengers have been advised to contact their airlines for flight updates.

Meanwhile, while the Irish embassy in Pretoria is monitoring the situation and urging travellers to consult their airlines or tour operators if concerned.
