Prince William has officially arrived in South Africa for the Earthshot Prize 2024 that will be hosted in Cape Town, Cape {town} Etc reports.

In a post made on X by @KensingtonRoyal, the official account of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the account announced Prince William’s arrival in the Mother City, with the post stating that:
‘Molweni Cape Town, it’s great to be back in South Africa! What a week ahead we have here for the fourth annual @EarthshotPrize Awards and the @united4wildlife Summit. We can’t wait to share it with you.’

Geordin Hill-Lewis, Cape Town mayor, also shared a post on his Facebook account, where he, along with Premier Alan Winde, welcomed Prince William.
‘Welcome to Cape Town, Prince William! We’re honoured to be hosting The Earthshot Prize in Cape Town this week,’ the post stated.
The prince himself even participated in a few rugby drills with children from Ocean View High School and was even joined by Springbok alumni, namely Tendai Mtawarira, better known as ‘Beast’, Percy Montgomery and Joel Stransky.
Victoria Ward, Deputy royal editor at the Daily Telegraph, also shared a video to her X account of Prince William showcasing his rugby skills during the drills.
