Last week’s PowerBall jackpot has gone to yet another Western Cape winner, as ITHUBA confirmed this week that the winning ticket was purchased in the small village of Groot Brakrivier.

On Monday, August 26 ITHUBA reported that the winner – who purchased their ticket from a Spar in Groot Brakrivier – had not yet made contact with the National Lottery Operator to claim their winnings.

This latest lucky lotto player is the third richest in South African history with their R141-million rake in, joining the ranks of R145-million winner from August last year and the more recent R232-million winner from February this year.

The Brakrivier resident was able to achieve a winning set of numbers by using a ticket wager of R105 and a Quick Pick selection.

ITHUBA is eagerly waiting for the winner to step forward and take their money home.
