Three suspects have been arrested in Elsies River for the possession of drugs worth roughly R4-million on Saturday, September 12.
According to the SABC, police spokesperson, Andre Traut, says they acted on a tip-off and intercepted over 35 000 Mandrax tablets and four kilograms of tik at a vehicle checkpoint. The suspects, aged between 32 and 41, will appear in court soon.

Another recent drug bust resulted in the arrest of several suspects and the confiscation of Mandrax tablets and crystal methamphetamine, cash, and illegal firearms and ammunition in Atlantis and Malmesbury on September 4, according to IOL.
