It is official! President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation at 8:30 pm on Sunday, July 25, regarding the developments in the country’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Presidency confirmed.

Ramaphosa’s address comes after several meetings with the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC), the President’s Coordinating Council and Cabinet. As the country’s vaccination roll-outs continue government and social partners have also been monitoring the COVID-19 infection, treatment and patient recovery rates as well as compliance with health regulations and other prevention measures.
