Around 40 artists have donated artwork to the New Muizenberg School’s Creative Auction Fundraiser with an aim to support equal access to education.
According to IOL, political artists from Lionel Davis to the director of UCT’s Michaelis Art School, Firtha Langerman, have all donated their beautiful work for the fundraiser, which is set to be held on October 16, 2021.
The Creativity Auction is said to be the school’s biggest fundraiser which provides all supporters with an opportunity to buy valuable pieces of artwork from renowned artists.
The New Muizenberg School took to Facebook to show off some of the most amazing artwork that has been donated by local talented artists.
Based in the heart of Muizenberg, this school follows the Waldorf curriculum and provides quality Waldorf-based education for kids regardless of their financial circumstances. If parents can’t afford to pay, they are funded through fundraising events.
If you can be a part of this fundraiser to help this school in need, you could be the change to a child’s education!
