Armed robbers reportedly targeted two separate post offices in the short space of two hours on Monday, April 1.

The three robbers first entered and robbed the Maitland Post Office at approximately 7.15am on Monday morning, fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Two hours later, a post office in Belmont Park, Kraaifontein was robbed at approximately 9.20am by what may have been the same three suspects.

The assailants in this case also left the Kraaifontein post office with an undisclosed amount of cash.

It remains unclear as to whether the two incidents are linked, and no arrests have yet been made.
