Ken Stephen (36) has been missing since Monday, July 6. He left home to go for a run up Platteklip Gorge at approximately 2.30pm and did not return home.

His car was found parked at the bottom of Platteklip Gorge. His cellphone is off and its signal was last picked up near Nettleton Road, according to Trailswp.

Many are seeking his safe return home. Wilderness Search And Rescue (WSAR), rangers and choppers have been searching for him since 7am on Tuesday morning [July 7]. Stephen often runs on Tafelberg road or the countour paths toward Devil’s Peak. Members of the public who may have seen him here or on Platteklip on July 6 are urged to come forward with any information they may have.
