Table Mountain National Park Fire Management deployed ground firefighting teams to tackle a fire burning in Tokai, beside the SANParks office block, reports Cape {town} Etc.
SANParks posted a short clip to its Facebook reporting that, as of 16:00, the incident has been contained and crews remain on site.
Park teams and partner agencies are conducting mop-up and ground assessments and ask the public to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel clear access.
