The incident occurred last Thursday while three men were inside their bread truck on Symphony Way and Temprol. Around 8am, unidentified gunmen ambushed the men as they were making deliveries in a white Isuzu truck with Sasko branding.
The dashboard camera footage, now widely circulated on social media, shows the driver in a blue top counting money and joking with his colleagues moments before the attack.
Just before handing some notes to his colleague, the trio is startled as two men appear from behind the truck and open both the driver and passenger doors.
In the video, the three men are seen surrendering as they are robbed. Despite handing over the cash without resistance, the armed suspect fires multiple shots inside the truck.
The driver is shot in the face, and the man in the passenger seat is hit several times in the upper body. The man in the middle is believed to have survived.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Bilqis Poole stated that Delft detectives are investigating two counts of murder, with no arrests made yet. The motive for the attack is still under investigation. Police could not confirm if they were aware of the video.
