A desperate search has been launched for missing University of Stellenbosch student, Asanele Same, who was last seen roughly one week ago.
Her brother reported her missing and she was last seen on Friday, last week. She lives in Suurbessie Street, Idas Valley.
Western Cape police spokesperson FC van Wyk confirmed that the search for Same was continuing and says her brother reported her missing on Monday evening at Stellenbosch police station.
According to reports, Same was last seen on campus at the University of Stellenbosch on Friday.
After being informed about Same’s disappearance, the university has been working closely with police and Same’s family.
All parties hope that she will be found unharmed.
