In a second, separate shooting in Citrus Street, a 30-year-old man was targeted while a vehicle was in motion. He was shot in the back and also transported to hospital for medical care.
Police believe the incidents may be linked to ongoing gang-related activity in the area, although no arrests have been made at this stage. Authorities have confirmed that investigations are continuing as they work to establish the full circumstances surrounding both attacks.
The back-to-back shootings have raised fresh concerns among residents, as law enforcement urges anyone with information to come forward while efforts to combat gang violence remain ongoing in the area.
