Highly acclaimed celebrity chef, Siba Mtongana, is will open her first Cape Town restaurant at Sun International’s 5-star Table Bay Hotel in the V&A Waterfront.
Diners can look forward to fine dining the “Sibalicious” way which will start as a pop-up with a special menu from Monday, December 21.
The multi-award-winning television chef and author is perhaps best known for her popular Siba’s Table series on DSTV’s Food Network. The show offers viewers snapshots of Siba’s life as she prepares delicious versions of South African-inspired dishes for her family and friends.
Contemporary African flavours will be the hero of all the dishes at Siba The Restaurant; while the luxurious Table Bay hotel with its magnificent views of the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain will provide the perfect backdrop.
The Table Bay hotel General Manager, Joanne Selby said, “Siba’s food is always fresh, exciting and creative – and comforting at the same time. She is extraordinarily talented and we are extremely proud to be her choice of partner for her first restaurant venture in Cape Town.”
The restaurant will be open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and lunch on Sunday.
