A shootout broke out at the Cape Town Railway Station deck on Monday morning [November 23] and six people have been confirmed to be injured.
According to ward councillor Angus McKenzie, the gunshots occurred at about 12.25pm on Monday.
Six people sustained gunshot wounds. The South African Police Service, ER24, and R14 are on the scene.
