A smash and grab warning has been shared for the intersection of Epping Avenue and Jan van Riebeeck Road in Elsies River, reports Cape {town} Etc.
Motorists were told to ‘Please be alert or avoid’.
The alert has renewed concern around a stretch of road that links into a corridor the City of Cape Town has previously flagged in service updates and smash-and-grab reporting.
City material notes that nearby Jakes Gerwel Drive intersections remain hotspots.
They listed Jan van Riebeeck Drive between Francie van Zijl Drive and Epping Avenue in official route updates.
