Presdent Cyril Ramaphosa was almost hit by the South African flag during his public address alongside President Sauli Niinisto of the Republic of Finland in Pretoria.
In a video shared on Instagram by actor and comedian Siv Ngesi, the pole holding the South African flag fell over and landed noisily right next to him. He can be heard commenting ‘that was quick’ after a member of staff rushed to move the pole away.
