Two Lotto app wins have set socials buzzing after both prizes landed on the same Saturday night, with one winning ticket linked to the FNB banking app. South Africans quickly questioned the pattern as the total winnings climbed to more than R32 million.
According to Briefly News on Saturday, 18 April 2026, one player claimed R9 945 027.10 in Lotto Plus 1, while another won R22 308 590.70 in Lotto Plus 2.
The jackpots had rolled over for weeks before the draw finally produced two winners
ITHUBA confirmed the wins and released the numbers for both draws. Lotto Plus 1 came in at 1, 4, 8, 40, 41 and 57, with bonus ball 19. Lotto Plus 2 produced 21, 38, 43, 56, 57 and 58, with bonus ball 53.
On 20 April, the @sa_lottery X account congratulated the Lotto Plus 2 winner and confirmed the ticket was bought through the FNB banking app.

Some users asked, ‘FNB again?’ while others claimed the pattern looked ‘cooked’. ITHUBA has maintained that the lottery system remains ‘fair and transparent’ as questions continue to circulate.
